It’s been a really busy last few weeks. All families will receive report cards on Wednesday next week. If you have any concerns please take the opportunity to discuss this with the class teacher.
We welcome a number of new students to our school who have enrolled in the last few weeks. Thank you to the students in the various classes who have supported and made the following students welcome; MJ, Zion, Jasper and Tyler.
Next term we have our year 3-6 students attending camps.
The year 5/6’s will be attending Arbury Park from Monday 15th August – Wednesday 17th August (Term 3, week 4)
Year 3 and 4 students will also get the opportunity to participate in a 1 night/1 day camp at AFL MAX.
Classes will attend the camp from Thursday 29th September – Friday 30th September. (Term 3, Week 10)
Further information will be distributed once numbers are confirmed. It’s great to provide these opportunities to our students and be received in such a positive manner.
During the July school holidays, building 2 will receive a much needed facelift with the windows being repaired and the building being painted.
2023 Reception Enrolments
Le Fevre Peninsula Primary School has started the process of planning for 2023. With a large number of Year 6 students transitioning to High School, it is important that we can plan with accurate enrolment numbers. If you have a child/ren who intend to start Reception in 2023, please complete the “Registration of Interest” forms and return them before the end of term 2.
It is with great pleasure to announce that Leah Koen has been appointed as the Deputy Principal for the next 5 years at LPPS. Leah is well known to our community and her experience and wealth of information is an asset to our school.
Kelly Jones has also been re-appointed in her position as Coordinator – Literacy. Kelly has been instrumental this year in re-structuring our Literacy programme.

Staff will be attending Training and Development on Monday 25th July.
The staff will be continuing our training in “Brightpath”, a tool to improve student writing.
Please speak to our OHSC - Camp Australia if you require supervision of your child on the student free day.
Term 3 commences on Tuesday 26th July!
