Learning in Room 14
Room 14 has been lucky enough to have a special person joining us for our health lessons this term. Ms Leah, our amazing Deputy Principal, has generously given up her time to come and teach us about the Catastrophe Scale. The Catastrophe Scale is a continuum that helps up to evaluate how big a problem is and how to cope with these problems appropriately. We have meaningful discussions and share stories about life experiences and where they sit on the scale. We continue using this language throughout the day if we are faced with a problem or a social challenge. A big, warm thank you to Ms Leah for spending time with us, we absolutely love having her as part of our class. These photos show room 14 students engaging with the Catastrophe Scale.
