MALPA- Calvary Hospital Excursion
On Friday the 27th of June, the students from our MALPA program visited Calvary North Adelaide Hospital. The students were taken through a range of different activities from a group of amazing nurses and Dr Reiger. The students were able to wear scrubs like a nurse or doctor, clean a fake wound, put bandages and casts on each other, take their blood pressure, use surgery tools and stitch up a cut on a piece of fake skin.
The students finished their day with a Q&A and a yummy lunch prepared by the kitchen staff.
The MALPA students had a great day and learnt so much from the knowledgeable nurses and doctor.
We have a few medical professionals in the making at Le Fevre.
Thank you for having us Calvary!
