RAA Smart Street Incursion
Last week, our students were lucky to take part in a fun and educational incursion with Sally from the RAA (Royal Automobile Association). Sally taught us all about how to stay safe when walking, riding and travelling in cars. Through engaging discussions, games, and visual presentations, students learned the importance of crossing roads safely, wearing seatbelts, using pedestrian crossings and being alert near traffic.
The session was tailored to each year level, helping students understand road rules in a way that was age-appropriate and memorable. Sally’s friendly and enthusiastic approach kept everyone involved and eager to participate.
We would like to thank Sally and the RAA for supporting our school and helping students develop lifelong road safety skills. We encourage families to talk with their children about what they learned and continue practising these important safety habits in everyday life.
We look forward to welcoming Sally back next week to work with more classes.
