On Thursday of Week 9, Term 3, our Le Fevre Peninsula Primary School Performance Choir (Years 4-6) headed out into the community to share some music with residents at three local aged care homes.
We visited the Phillip Kennedy Centre in Largs Bay, Bolton Clarke Marten in Largs North and Bupa Aged Care in Woodville.
Our students sang beautifully and were wonderful ambassadors for our school, showing kindness and respect as they chatted and interacted with residents. It was lovely to see so many residents enjoying the music, joining in with familiar songs and even shedding a few happy tears!
It was a fantastic experience for our students and a lovely opportunity to bring a little joy to others through music. We are very proud of our Performance Choir!
